This is no time to consider changing something that works. The plain truth of the matter is, as a "non-traditional" student, there is little to no financial aid available especially for technical college, beyond HOPE. At least at a two-year university banks are more apt to loan me money or I can at least qualify for a Stafford loan.

There is an issue as it stands with transferring between schools already IN the university system. It is to the institution's discretion if they want to accept a course or not from another school. I fear that if we are merged with the technical system rather than the university system that hurdle would be greater.

I only hope the legislators hear us before it's too late!
